@Heavymetalgamer28 Liberal morons? I am pretty sure the most abuse that goes on is on the hands of the corporations. The government NEEDS to protect the people from corporations, but they don’t, because of conservative morons and their deregulation. I am not so worried about rights being taken away as I am of our food and environment being destroyed by republican greed like it has been for many, many years. Republican and Democrats are from the same evil pool of people.
Exactly, the problem with the government is how big it is, that means it can abuse the people more, which it is totally doing. The government does not give a fuck about the people and a big part of why is because it’s so big, these liberal morons don’t get that big government will NOT benefit the people.
@Heavymetalgamer28 AGREED! The more the government gets involved the more dependent we as a country become. We are responsible for our own lives and our children’s lives, not the government. If people keep handing power over the the government instead of taking responsibility for themselves, the more we become enslaved. @Psycolynch I design advertisements for a restaurant. We advertise at high schools all over the city and hand out gift certificates to “the football player of the week”. We also take their pictures and post them at our restaurant. The kids bring their families to enjoy their recognition and also to enjoy the sports atmosphere (also targeted at kids). I must admit to a sense of shame when the restaurant owner refused to disclose to nutritional value of the food.
I don’t know if marketing to children is all bad in the case of toys… some one had a job when they had to make the movies, cartoons, toys. In the case of junk/fast food, I agree with the film because the bad food contributes to terrible health.
In all fairness, the spongebob macaroni, at most the shaped ones, cheese does taste different from the standard macaroni noodles cheese…. never looked into why though…. it maybe has to do with how the cheese tasted in consequence to the different noodles being used. But it does taste different.
Regulation of TV is not the answer Turning it off is. Don’t even think about regulating TV, that’s not necessary. What is is to turn it off and free your mind.

The info is good and very informative. However, as a 17 year old who grew up with tons of advertising, I don’t yet see the huge problem with this. I’m not a blind consumer, who sticks to brands just based on name. Rather I think this is a case of old people complaining about kids living different lives than they did.
I liked the 1st part, but I don’t agree with regulating TV because I’m against all censorship I say turn off the TV PERIOD and don’t even think about regulating it.
